The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It doesn’t waste time whatsoever and KristieBish is not wasting time to sit down, open a cold one and have some blood pouring from the side of her mouth to watch the movie in the most wonderful time of the year. Yes, I want the spooks. Yes, I want the horror. Yes, I want Lionel to watch too.
Ed and Lorraine Warren are back, once again proving that love can conquer all, except demons, who apparently just need stronger plot armor. Ed spends half the movie clutching his chest like he’s in a LifeAlert commercial, while Lorraine channels every ghost in a fifty-mile radius using nothing but good posture and sheer faith. And she is in the midst of it all, just peeking out from her fingers.
By the time the credits roll, it’s less based on a true story and more loosely inspired by everyone’s nightmares. But KristieBish is a dream so it all works out!
