Forget Rei and Asuka, there’ another Neon Genesis Evangelion pilot that deserves the spotlight and it’s being pointed towards her thanks to _Marcelline_’s cosplay show.
I am talking about Mari Makinami Illustrious. She’s not the Evangelion pilot I see most often in the series, but she is one of the cutest one. That much becomes even more clear as I admire this cosplay show. The red hair, that headband with the robotic design, the pair of red-rimmed glasses and of course the 05 plugsuit itself all come together to make her look like she jumped straight out of the anime.
So cute, stylish and bad-ass all at the same time. _Marcelline_ has done a great job of bringing Mari into the spotlight and I look forward to seeing the rest of her Evangelion adventure right here in this cam room.
