Vecca_Salt plays Fears to Fathom while wearing a sexy red dress with a deep cleavage to lose our troubles in while we watch her getting through the adventure and all the activities it has to offer.
I particularly like the world-building in this game, because we can see Vecca_Salt fishing, marinating and cooking the fish, and even playing a board game within the game. All these everyday actions create a sensation of normality with an undertone of eeriness that I really like, because it helps build up the psychological horror elements that the game works towards.
There are also some jump-scary moments in Fears to Fathom, and they are presented as genuine startles that could also work in real life (and which make the lovely Vecca_Salt jump out of her chair when they happen, which is always fun to see), like exiting a bathroom stall and then suddenly seeing someone walk past you all ghost-like and making you jump because you weren’t expecting him to be there. It is details like these what provides a taste of the bigger things to come in the game’s story, and I’m really excited to see how this one turns out.
