“Your life is so precious don’t waste it away” Wise words from a virtual character. I’m 100% sure that all of you here in sexy fandom knows Vocaloid and I’m most of you knows Megurine Luca. The Pink hair girl who sings much better than you and more popular than you. Not even stating the fact that she’s just a virtual pop idol. Beat that guy sitting infront of the computer. Well among all the Vocaloid cosplay I’ve discussed and seen this is by far the best in both cosplay and photoshoot. Looking at the photos is like looking at a movie poster or an album poster. I love how the picture is very light yet deep. Luca staring at the sky while holding the baloons, all the shades of color in the shoot just fits perfectly. Compared to other Vocaloid cosplay shoots, I’ll give this a 9.5/10
But who is Luca anyway? is a Japanese VOCALOID developed and distributed by Crypton Future Media, Inc., and was initially released in January 2009 for the VOCALOID2 engine. She is part of the Character Vocal Series and is a Character Voice VOCALOID. She is based on the “Yamaha VL1 VL-1”. Her dress was designed to look old fashioned, to make her represent the past, as a form of contrast, the “∞” on her neck area represents “sound around”. Her design incorporates woodwind and brass instruments. The gold curl design on her chest mimics brass instruments and a circulatory organ. The blue jewel near her throat represents moisture in the air and water drops.
But who cosplayed who? Our model for this article today is an amateur cosplayer from Vietnam name Chuongtu but I really doubt that amateur part if you look at her works though, stay humble Chungtu! She is an Student Artist and has a hobby for photography and cosplay. She mainly posts her works in her Deviant Account, ChungTu DeviantArt. She also has her own Facebook Fanpage named Wao Cosplayer.
