I honestly don’t think I’ve properly watched Labyrinth pretty much at any point in my existence, but I’m not gonna lie and say I was totally not captivated by the dancing puppet creepy things that were moving around the screen in a definitely terror-ridden nightmare.
BdayJess seems to be enjoying it though and she also really likes her nostalgia. 80s movies were definitely harboring an element of insanity no matter the genre, but I do really like this fairytale-ish retelling of what can only be the search for true love, because it always is.
And who better to watch it with than BdayJess herself? There’s even a Slave Leia and a Stormtrooper in the back for extra audience participation during it.
