KristieBish is a Potterhead through and through because even on an evening dedicated to reading through some of the Lord of the Rings, ‘Arry Potta is the focal point (which by the way, I too am excited about the series because more HP content equals more Kristie content and who doesn’t like that?)
Alas, there are Barrow-wights around and the hobbits are indeed trying to make their way through the woods so Frodo can slowly but surely realize that Sauron’s powers of the ring are not simply external but also a fight with one’s mind and heart. Not to spoil the rest because KristieBish has the reading environment locked down, there’s going to be a lot of stuff happening, which is a shocking sentence to read, I am aware.
Despite KristieBish looking like she just came from a Kiss concert, her tone is soft, and the background music just engulfs listeners into the story without much effort as she moves everyone through the waves of Tolkien’s mastery. But who knows, maybe she will bust into an 80s rock performance by the end of reading time?
