Rei Ayanami has a very recognizable look to her (especially that plug suit that is practically iconic), but I do like how the cutie has brought out something else from her, this almost kitty-like look that is beautiful to add on top. The cat ears are a great combination with her hair since it really pushes the cuteness factor up a few notches.
