Mari_JaeBDAY is treating us to a very fun movie night stream where Halloween seems to still go on (which is a fantastic idea), as she is watching the Silent Hill movie from 2006.
Now, I gotta say that I didn’t think this Silent Hill movie was bad, considering the way video game adaptations are treated when they transfer to the big screen. I happen to enjoy this one. I think it is well-done, and while it doesn’t follow the entirety of the games to the letter, it does leave enough space and shows respect for the source material, ultimately delivering on an entertaining horror experience, even considering the presence of a few characters like Pyramid Head who shows up as a kind of odd fan service.
Still, I remember it fondly, especially because it is one of the few movies where I think Sean Bean’s character doesn’t end up on a date with the grim reaper, which is refreshing to see in a film.
But anyway, I digress. The movie plays during this cam show and we can enjoy it while Mari_JaeBDAY adds a bit of flavor to the spooky scene with her interesting comments that make things extra-nice as she is inviting us to watch the movie with her while she is topless, which is a dream come true right there, especially because, given the excitement of the movie and the fact that there’s nothing covering her upper body, if we’re lucky, through a startle or a sudden reaction brought by the scary stuff the movie is throwing at us, we could take a peek at her amazing attributes to help the scary stuff go down easier, which is a very interesting and even comforting way of watching a horror film.
