Ah, seeing Morrigan Aensland is so nostalgic it brings me back to Marvel vs. Capcom and SNK vs. Capcom. Her character design has evolved so much over the years and the art and merchandise only ever gets better.
I recently stumbled on ANDO’s cosplay of Morrigan and having been away from the arcades for years now I had to research about this costume and which game version it had been in. With a bit of googling I found out this version is Morrigan Aensland from the game Darkstalkers 3, also known in Japan as “Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire. It’s pretty much old school but still gold in my opinion. In the same manner I do believe cosplaying old school characters is priceless. It can be quite the challenge because sometimes the amount of references you get can be limited, but once you pull it off it’s quite rewarding to see.
