Didn’t your daddy teach you how to use a sword? Have you know any other celebrity, character or just anyone with the name Trish? Well it’s funny because the name is very western like and when you just type Trish in google, the very first link it’ll give you is the one from Devil May Cry. But anyway who is Trish? Trish is a mysterious woman who strangely resembles Dante’s mother, Eva. She is a major protagonist in the series, although she was originally one of Dante’s enemies. She was originally cruel and uncaring, but after Dante saved her, she began to develop emotions towards him, and eventually sacrificed herself to save him from Mundus’s attack.
Our cosplayer for today is WindoftheStars. WindoftheStars or real name, Mel has been cosplaying for over 10 years already and has build herself a position, image and respect in the cosplay industry. She have created over 80 elaborate costumes, for herself and (surprisingly) for others which originates from movies, video games, comics, anime, manga and from her very own creative mind. Many of her costumes have received prestigious awards and have been featured in print and online publications around the world, and like what I said earlier, she earned her position in the cosplay industry thus she’s been constantly invited as a Guest of Honor, Judge, Booth Model and Panelist at conventions. Her current hobby lead her to become a professional tailor, seamstress at the top tier alterations shop in Northern Nevada. You go girl! That’s what girls say when they try to encourage their girl friends right? Well that’s what I will say for Wind! Like what Trish always says, “Dress to impress” And yeah Wind of the Stars or in short “Wind” for it to be easier, really suits this Trish character, since besides having a very white skin, the blonde wig also suits her and looks very natural. What I specially love about the cosplay is her tops and more specifically, the details that was embedded on it on the sides, that details very much resembles outfits and devil may cry and looks really cool and sexy.
Bringing characters to life one stitch at a time. That has been WindoftheStar’s own slogan in life which lead her to where she is now, known to the cosplay world and tailoring industry. Let’s keep supporting and encouraging her in each and every cosplay she makes to further motivate her in creating and more elaborate cosplay by following her on Facebook, Twitter, DeviantArt and Tumblr. If you’re more than satisfied on the cosplay she made let’s also support her by purchasing her merchandises in her Website. Let’s also support her Photographer, Ocwajbaum and follow him on twitter, @Ocwajbaum for the very refined Photos.
