Touhou Project is one of those franchises with so many characters that it’s difficult to memorize all of them and those who do memorize all of them must probably be on a godly level. I came to know about Touhou Project really late but even for something that was released way back, it’s proof that some fandoms never die and just continue to grow. It’s just amazing how much new products are coming out from Tohou Project almost every year and fan numbers just keep growing.
Yuyuko Saigyouji is just one of many characters from Tohou. From I remember her from the art she’s looks like a child who’s character was written out to be is playful and good-humored. When I saw Aimer ’s cosplay on a more mature Yuyuko I was amazed. More so the background they used in the photo may be a bit far from Gensokyou but it worked well with the current theme of the photoshoot. Whether it’s a studio background or a hand-made set either way the lighting was really creative. The background having no similar color to Aimer’s costume made her stand out even more as the subject of the photo.
