It is always more fun to be a villain and if you are being a Disney villain there is one choice that stands above all the rest. In this tutorial you will learn from BrittanyBearMakeup how to transform into the best of the worst, the pettiest girl on the block…. Maleficent!
She starts things off with some P.Louise eye primer to get her eyes prepped and then gets out her LA Girl Fierce & Wild Palette. She uses two of the brown colors from that palette to smoke out the corners of her eye only, leaving the inner and center parts more bright. She then uses a Haus Laboratories liquid liner to make a thin cat eye that hugs close to the lashline.
From there she moves on to the face, and uses a green Smashbox Photo Finish primer to start things off. With her skin ready for makeup, she applies her Elf Flawless Finish foundation and does so in a slightly lighter color than her skin tone for the pale look Maleficent has. She uses two different tones of Dose of Colors concealer, building more of a shape with it to really highlight her cheekbones. She then sets her face with a Huda Beauty banana powder, making sure to press it in and let it sit a bit to get a good matte look. Next, she sculpts and contours out her cheeks with a Benefit Cosmetics Hoola bronzer, trying to get that incredibly defined look. MAC Studio Fix Powder is used as a highlighter, and she applies it with a concealer brush to really sculpt out that defined cheekbone look. Going back into the LA Girl palette, she finishes her eyes by smoking out her undereye before putting on her signature BrittanyBear x Salon Perfect lashes and filling in her eyebrows.
Her lips get a Dose of Colors lip liner in “Snappy” which is used to line them as well as form a base, and MAC “Dance With Me” color lipstick goes on to finish everything off. After that BrittanyBearMakeup just needs a headpiece for the horns, and she (and you) are ready to curse some people for not inviting you to their party! The look is teachable, but the petty is something you have to acquire on your own to be the perfect Maleficent!
