I like to pay attention to tiny details when looking at costumes. This aspect is what separates the okay, the good, and the great cosplays. This Arturia Pendragon cosplay by a cosplayer who goes by the moniker, “Love Teacher PhD”, has a very simple costume and there doesn’t seem to be too much complexity that arises from making it apart from the type of fabric, the handling, and sewing style. However, if you look closely it’s accented with beautiful rhinestone and beaded works that are perfectly positioned making it look regal. Another detail that gave her costume an upgrade is the design of the fabric and the laced gloves that can be visible upon closer inspection. Overall, she has turned a simple costume into something of quality.
