You won’t need “friends on the other side” to achieve an amazing Dr. Facilier style look, just a little makeup voodoo lesson courtesy of the amazing MakeupTiffanyJ! She put together this astounding tutorial that will turn you into a version of the Princess And The Frog villain that you will not want to keep hidden in the shadows. She starts off by styling a human hair wig from Victoria’s Wigs to give it the look she wants, and it is a pretty great tutorial on how to style a wig like this. She details what she does with it step by step right down to the gluing and trimming of the lace.
Once the wig is on, it is time for the makeup! She starts off by priming her eyes with P. Louise x TailorMadeJane Vault Bases in No. 3 and No. 5. She buffs the base in with a fluffy brush, and once that is done her eyes now have a good base to make the colors really pop once she adds them. She uses the Bperfect x Stacey Marie Carnival XL palette for the eyes and starts with making the wing shape in the middle shade before adding a hot pink and a black to create a nice blended gradient. She cleans up under the crease and on the lid, and paints them a white color with some base next. She then takes a dark green to blend into the black on the outer edge, and then uses a neon green to light her lid up and create a striking contrast. Some Beauty Bakerie Gelato Liner in Black Milk is used to line the upper lash line, and an Urban Decay Eye Pencil in Perversion for her lower liner. She smudges out that liner with a brush and adds some black shadow before blending it to match the rest of the eye. A little highlight from the Melt Blushlight palette in the color Ultraviolet goes on the brow bone and inner corner, and then she adds a little of a white pearlescent color for more of a pop too! She finishes off the eyes by adding a little L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Primer to her lashes before putting on some Black Radiance Bold & Sexy Fiber Mascara. She uses tweezers to apply some Tatti lashes, and the eyes are done and stunning!
She is then moving on to her face, and applies some Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer all over with her hands before using her Maybelline Superstay foundation and buffing it in with a brush. Some Fenty Pro Filt’r Concealer goes under her eyes, on the sides of her nose, and some other strategic spots. After that, she applies some Fenty Pro Filt’r setting powder in Banana on all the areas she used concealer, and sets the rest of her face with J. Cat Beauty Aquasurance Compact Powder. Some Morphe Glamabronze Bronzer is used on all of the areas she wants to add some warmth, and then uses a mix of all the colors from the Melt Blushlight palette to highlight around her cheeks and temples. She then uses Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow and gel to build up a striking brow look and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dream glow kit does all of the detail highlighting on her cheekbones, nose, and cupids bow.
Her lips are next and she lines them with LA Girl Shockwave Liner in Blackout before taking two different shades of red Ofra liquid lipstick and creating a cute ombre look with them. She finishes them off with a mix of glosses from LA Girl and Black Radiance, giving it a duochrome look that really stands out!
