This sensual costume was created by Kinpatsu-Cosplay (A.K.A Tayla Barter) a South African Cosplayer and Artist. It is Tayla’s adaptation of Lina, a hero in the DOTA2 game Series. Tayla has been partaking in cosplay since 2013 and has won numerous awards in Cosplay competitions. Most recently Tayla won 1st place at the annual rAge 2015 costume category. rAge is a gaming expo hosted exclusively in South Africa, this event takes place annually and hosts all type of vendors for gaming. This is also a way that game vendor’s and creators launch new games and retail. Tayla has been featured in Forbes as well as Fashionably Geek, who refers to her as the best Cosplay in South Africa. Forbes states in their article that “Tayla’s outfits are so complex that they don’t fit in her car, they have to disassembles then loaded into, her car only to be reassembled in the parking lot.” (Cobaz, 2016).
