Jinx, by Andrasta

The Polish cosplayer Madlen perfectly captures the wild-eyed and seductive character of Jinx from League of Legends.

Known online as Andrasta, Madlen specialises in makeup, and it’s the face shading, eye colouring, and lipstick that perfectly bring out the slight touch of lunacy needed for a Jinx cosplay.

She made the costume herself, apart from the wig which was shop-bought and stylized by hand by Madlen. The bullet-laden brassiere, skimpy shorts, and wacky contact lenses (from PinkyParadise) are perfectly suited to the manic and impulsive character. She even constructed Jinx’s Fishbone cannon – pictures can be found here. The only thing missing are the blue cloud tattoos.

This was Madlen’s first cosplay costume, and since then she has cosplayed as Candy Cane Miss Fortune, Katarina, and a very sexy blood elf from World of Warcraft. She brought the Jinx costume to to Mangafest in Sevilla, and it also featured at Intel Extreme Masters 2014 in Katowice, Poland.

These photos were taken by Ricardo Espiau at Mangafest. The Seville-based photographer specialises in cosplays, costumes, and colourful, evocative, portraits.More of his work can be found on his official website and Facebook page.

Madlen’s recent cosplaying can be followed on her Tumblr, Facebook, and DeviantArt profiles. She also occasionally posts on her Instagram and Twitter, and uses her Blogspot page to advertise her favourite contact lens companies.
