I think I got traumatized. I remember watching this movie, Vampire Hunter D, when I was just around 8 or 10 yr old I think? And shit this animated movie scared the shit out of me but even though it freakin scared me to hell I can’t stop watching it, maybe it’s because of the support of my siblings and cousins who were also watching it with me. But this movie is just dark and gloomy and specially the freaking Vampire Queen followed a very western like look which appears in western movies.
Carmilla Elizabeth or also known the Bloody Countess which is the main reason I wasn’t able to watch the film again is a deceased female Vampire who was a member of Nobility. As the Sacred Ancestor’s lover she ruled as Vampire Queen. Her whole countenance was bathed in vermilion attire including an elegant dress, adorned with gold, and white arraignments along with a head dress of the same hue.
Our cosplayer for today is Yaya Han. She is a costume designer, model and cosplay entertainer with over a decade of experience. After discovering cosplay at Anime Expo in 1999, she quickly absorbed the heart and soul of costume design and creation. To this day Yaya has made close to 300 costumes in the genres of anime/manga, comic books, video games, sci-fi and her own original designs.
Yaya Han has sadly never fails to amaze and freak me with this cosplay… The cosplay really looks good, she followed the very Victorian Countess look of Carmilla in each and every part of the outfit from top to bottom. The photography was also great and took a huge impact on the overall appearance of the cosplay. Yaya Han’s action and portrayal of the character was very noticeable as well as she was able to portray the vampire look of Carmilla very well. BUT it doesn’t change the fact that I still hate this character for the sole reason that It brings back bad memories, but for the sake of this very good and excruciating cosplay I’ll do my job as a cosplay blogger and to share this cosplay with you guys.
Yaya Han is without a doubt have a great talent for both modelling and tailoring her costumes let’s at least support her by following her on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube Channel and DeviantArt. Let’s also support her photographer Judith Stephens photography and follow her on twitter
