The latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, was released this summer.
It only proved that Jack Sparrow’s (Johnny Depp) character is so strong that even when Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley’s characters are no longer there, the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) ended with $241.1 million gross when it closed on September 29,2011.
What’s great about the latest installment is that Orlando Bloom will reprise his role as Will Turner (sadly, no Keira Knightley). Johnny Depp was also involved in writing for the movie, which is really amazing.
Some of us may have thought that the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will be the last movie installment, especially when there is no news about having a follow up movie after that (based on the movie’s ending) but this time, it is confirmed.
It was originally scheduled to be released on 2015 but many preparations have been made in order to repeat the success of the first movie (or at least attempt to) so this movie is really something to look forward to next year.
