Cosplay arrived in Australia 15 years ago and since then, there has been a lot of events concerning cosplay and there are a lot of people participating on this kind of event.
Just last August 20,2016 to August 21,2016, SMASH! Sydney Manga and Anime Show was held at Rosehill Gardens and there are a lot of amazing cosplayers and enthusiasts who went there. This was organized by Smash Inc, a non-profit volunteer organization. What do they do? Well, as per their official Facebook page, “We wish to allow fans to meet and interact with other like-minded people, show off their own creative talents, buy anime and manga related goods and celebrate their fandom in a social environment.” And I think, by sharing their pictures with us, they have reached out globally, all thanks to Black Rabbit Photography.
