This anime just got weirder. First of all, the settings of the story, Macross Frontier, revolves around space and well in space you’ll expect aliens and other living life forms and maybe some robot battles like Gundam but the hell with that why talk about a freaking Fairy?! And to make it a lot more weirder a FAIRY PIRATE?!
Known as the “Galactic Fairy”, Sheryl Nome is a pop idol from Macross Galaxy fleet who constantly tops music charts, leading people to say that it was impossible not to hear her songs if you lived in this galaxy. As such, her popularity was soaring just as high in the Galaxy’s sister fleet, Macross Frontier. Due to her beauty and singing talent, she is a very proud and self-assured person.
Our cosplayer for today is Yaya Han. She is a costume designer, model and cosplay entertainer with over a decade of experience. After discovering cosplay at Anime Expo in 1999, she quickly absorbed the heart and soul of costume design and creation. To this day Yaya has made close to 300 costumes in the genres of anime/manga, comic books, video games, sci-fi and her own original designs.
The two things you’ll expect from a typical female Pirate is the hat and the hand rufflings which coincidentally, my favourite part of this costume. The hand rufflings were made out of magenta organza and was multi layered to make it, you know, ruffled. The coat was also worthy of my noticed since it’s made of the velvet nubuc fabrics. You wouldn’t expect the hat she wore was just bought from a Halloween store which cost for only $5, no editing made, the gold, gem and lavender feathers came with the costume.
This cosplayer is without a doubt have a great talent for both modelling and tailoring her costumes let’s at least support her by following her on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube Channel and DeviantArt. Let’s also support her photographer Brent Lavelle photography.
