Persona 5 is originally a role-playing video game where the player takes on the role of a silent protagonist, and experiences events over the course of one year while attending high school in Tokyo such as school trips and festivals. This game is from the franchise Persona, which is also a part of a much bigger franchise, Megami Tensei, only that it is based on a high school setting.
One July 20, 2016, Aniplex began streaming a preview of Persona 5 the Animation -The Day Breakers-, the tie-in television special for Atlus’ upcoming Persona 5 RPG, on Tuesday. They made this as a celebration for the Persona 20th anniversary festival project. Even though there is a preview of the animation version of Persona 5, there is no specific timing was given and also there was no clarification regarding if this will be an ongoing series. It is rumored that the animation version will be released summer of 2016 but as of this date, there is no further information when exactly is the release date going to be. If Persona 5 is going to be an animation series, I’m pretty sure it’s one hell cool of an anime.
