What’s going on at New Zealand’s Airport?

I didn’t want to believe it at first but it seems like it’s for real. It is for real! If I didn’t read about this or anything about this and traveled to New Zealand, I’d really be surprised!

I can’t blame them for decorating their airport like the Hobbit because a lot of producers, directors — and everything that has to do with the industry — chose to work at New Zealand for their projects or movies.

If you happen to be arriving at Wellington International Airport if you go to New Zealand, don’t be surprised to see Gollum fishing there. “Gigantic” Gollum, if I may add.

For movies such as Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit — people in the movie industry choose to do their job in New Zealand because it has been recognized as the leader in science fiction and fantasy special effects screen productions. Just to name a few, the filmmakers who carried out their projects here are just Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, Peter Webber, Rob Tapert and Barrie Osborne. Also, the people in the industry who came from New Zealand are just the directors Peter Jackson, Andrew Adamson and Taika Waititi, actors Anna Paquin, Sam Neill and Lucy Lawless, and the comedy duo Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie (Flight of the Conchords).

I can say that it’s a great job for decorating their airport like this, since this reflects what their country is well-known for.

Their really amazing decorations, architecture and details ( I tell you — it really looks like a real Gollum and Smaug), it just shows how talented the people are in New Zealand.
