GodsGirls gives a bit of an Easter Egg coloring shoot gone bad spread to us for our Bunny Festivities. Asha seems to be stuck coloring a few dozen eggs here. We’ve all done it. Colored those eggs. It was sometimes fun as a child, but the fun stopped right around the time when you had to be the one to find eggs (seriously, try finding eggs at the grocers nearest you Saturday night). Not only do you have to find the eggs to color, but then you have to buy these kits that are basically small food coloring packets with a really weak “it almost holds an egg up” egg removing wand. Needless to say, if you’ve been there then you’ll really enjoy this Gods Girls shoot with Asha.
Asha is sitting, rather bored of it all when the idea of drinking and maybe a bit extra comes into her mind in this shoot. What I love (besides her nails! Seriously, look at them! I did one picture just to show them off!) about this shoot is the raw energy. It’s Easter adult style. You know, the one thing you try to do for some family members of the munchkin variety and things just don’t go right? That’s this shoot. It’s a perfect drug and booze fueled meltdown (oddly, not the only time I had said this about Easter). I loved her bringing out the cig and I really loved her crushing those eggs. Some of the best shots are her topless with egg just squishing out of her fists. I can’t show you most of those shots, but I did sneak one in of the mess from the top down. Oh and it gets better, she is wearing a bit of a bunny costume (a bit too borderline for me to show) and the entire thing just works.
It is the energy of Asha that carries the Easter Breakdown off, and what a great marvelous breakdown it is.
