I’ve always been a videogame fan so naturally I’d look for franchise and fandom creations regarding the game I like. While browsing through the internet I stumbled on this BlazBlue cosplay of Makoto Nanaya by Nonsummerjack – a Japanese cosplayer and model who frequents events such as Comic Market in Japan. She occasionally has her own booth where she sells merchandise like photobooks and ROMs of her cosplay.
For those who aren’t familiar with BlazBlue, it’s a fighting game series by Arc System Works that has sold over 1.7 million games since its release in 2008. An anime adaptation was aired in 2013.
Makoto Nanaya is one of the playable characters. She is a hyperactive girl who is bullied because of her Beatskin attributes which is obvious because of her squirrel-like ears and tail that stick out noticeably. Though bullied and undermined, she’s actually incredibly strong with inhuman reflexes.
