Let’s do some Pounding and Grinding. As you know, there will be an upcoming Supergirl tv series on CBS. Apparently, although she’s within the same universe as the Arrow and Flash Tv Series, Supergirl’s story is not connected with either of the two. Super Girl is a cousing of Superman named Kara Zor El but did you she has one more identity besides Supergirl? In the story line Supergirl has another counterpart in a different DC univer – Earth 2 and that is Power Girl. In some universe, Supergirl eventually became Power Girl.
But who really is Kara Zor El? She (Power Girl) is the Earth-Two counterpart of the Kryptonian Supergirl and first cousin to Kal-L, the Superman of Earth-Two. Possessing her cousin’s superhuman strength and ability to fly, she took his place in the Justice Society of America after he entered into semi-retirement to focus on his personal life. Kara Zor-L has since been recognized as an important member of the JSA. Kara Zor El as stated became from Supergirl to Power Girl. When she wore the suit of Power Girl there are no logos but only a hole. This was explained in one part of the comics that Power Girl idolizes Superman but as Power Girl she can’t copy the symbol of Superman and left with no idea to put in. She then decided that when the time she’s able to come up with a logo she will cover that hole.
But enough of that the cosplay for today is Crystal Graziano and I love her Power Girl cosplay. Well heck that’s already obvious I wouldn’t share it if I hated it – I only share the Love. But anyway like any other famous superhero Power Girl is a mainstream character in the cosplay industry since her outfit is very easy to tailor but I only want to note a few things about Crystal’s version of Power Girl. I love the lining the put effort into the costume and you will be able to notice it easily in the photos. Another is her poses really rocks they were obviously hard to because of the heels of her boots. My favorite one was the portrait shot where she was like floating while her cape being blown I freakin love that photo. I might print it and post in my room when I have the chance.
