No, not the mighty ducks movie (why a trilogy felt necessary for them, I haven’t a clue. I’m not sure which 35 year old playing a 7th grader needed closure for his character), but rather Diablo 3. I’m a mixed fan of Diablo. I loved the original and even D2, no matter how extremely flawed, but D3 is a bit of a fence for me. The story was short; the beta testing left me bored; and I am thankful my local library had a copy to beat on instead of rent. So, when I see Lunae and her room discuss D3, I am in suspense to see which side of the fanboy universe the hammer would fall. We agree the gameplay is alright, but the writing is, as one person put it (okay, it might be me), done by a roomful of ‘half blind monkeys jamming away at the keyboard with their butts.’. Don’t get me wrong, those monkeys had a lot of fun typing like that and some of that fun transfers over to the game.
Lunae knows a bit of her gaming here. She even knew of the writer for D3, although she is having one of her distracted days. I think I need to visit this room again sometime. There is something about Lunae (I am a sucker for glasses) that I’d like to see again with focus.
