One of my favorite things about Kaylee Pond is her democratic inclusive approach to fandom. So many people act like every conversation is a test. You know the sort of fen who will give you a pop quiz on personality differences between Darth Maul and Darth Malgus? Kaylee Pond, on the other hand, is capable of cosplaying Sailor Mercury and educating viewers about the Sailor Moon universe, rather than making anyone feel dumb. Kaylee Pond is very bubbly and always puts a smile on my face; she says she is more bubbly than Sailor Mercury, but she admires the character’s intellect. A lot of the Kaylee Pond chat room regulars are “in costume” today by adding portions of Sailor Moon character names to their usual avatar nicknames. Sometimes I just love the internet. Kaylee Pond just demonstrated a lot of her hat collection as well, which made me think of Totoro eating Sailor Mercury. But that’s probably just me, as others pointed out that her face fits into his stomach region, not his mouth. Kaylee Pond says she stays very organized with a calendar of what activities she is going to do every time she logs on. Wouldn’t you like a peek at that schedule?
