We start this penultimate episode with Merlyn doing some house cleaning at Unidac, which seems pretty shitty to kill the help. They only did what you wanted them to, make a goddamn earthquake machine to destroy the Glades and they get an arrow in the face. Not cool, Captain Jack.
Laurel is full of emotions and shit. Tommy is still a chump.
Reunited and it feels so good. Walter’s back on the scene and seems, different.
Speedy and Speedy get together and Speedy is taking pictures of the lab rat crime scene. Speedy eavesdrops on Dresden and learns the copy cat archer is somehow connected to Merlyn Global. Nice job, girl scouts. This storyline is tiresome.
Flashback to the Lost island where our ménage à twerps have been captured and The Man in Charge is going to shoot down a commercial airliner. SEE! It IS the Lost island! Where’s the Black Pearl!? So the plan is to shoot any airplane that approaches China to destabilize their economy? Um, okay? And it’s all thanks to some chick at a desk. Are we to assume that’s Moira?
Ollie and Moira are abducted but it’s a trick to get info out of Moira about The UNDERTAKING. And boy does she spill. Unidac has made a earthquake machine, straight out of a cartoon! Ollie gets Felicity on the case but she can’t hack in so yada, yada, they physically break in all Mission Impossible style. Felicity gets to hug on Ollie in an adorably awkward moment and I hope there are more of these in the future. Uhhhh-dorable.
Yup, Tommy is a reeeeaaaal douche bag. He tries to have a dick measuring contest with Ollie but doesn’t realize that Ollie is exempt. Cuz his dick has abs. I love, LOVE that Ollie gave Tommy a big speech and then changed his mind and goes to bang Laurel. Now all he has to do is kill Tommy’s dad and he’s got a nemesis!
Awww, Walter wants to divorce Moira. He’s the only good think that’s happened to that family. Sad face.
Felicity finds The Device and Ollie confronts Merlyn, some fighting ensues and Merlyn wins, also discovering the Hood’s identity. Dun Dun DUN.
