Last night, award-winning alt photographer Amelia G blogged about shooting Tara Toxic with Forrest Black. Apparently this crossbow-toting mohawked punk schoolgirl shoot was inspired by the films of Quentin Tarantino. I am assuming the Kill Bill movies, in specific. I can certainly picture this scene ending with Tara Toxic using that crossbow on a lot of unfortunate ninjas.
I might quibble with her that the original inspiration is actually depraved Hong Kong cinema, but this shoot is so hot and beautifully shot that maybe I’ll restrain myself from quibbling. Oops, too late, I already quibbled.
The sculptural paintings on the wall are credited to an artist named Kevin Flint. Check out Barely Evil for the whole amazing series.
