This weekend, if you’re in Dearborn Michigan or the greater Detroit area, come on out to World Steam Expo! Guests include New York Times Best Selling Author Gail Carriger, author Jay Lake, Forece of Nature Evelyn Kriete, bands Abney Park and Steam Powered Giraffe and many more. Panels include “Advanced Steampunk Prop Fabrication”, “Monster Survival 101”, costume contests and High Tea.
This year the Merchant room is open to the public, so you don’t even need to buy a ticket to buy some cool stuff. And you know who else will be there? Me! So strap on your finest corset or bow tie, hitch a zeppelin ride, and come party like it’s 1812.
In 2010, we presented you a show 120 years in the making, and in 2011 we produced one of the largest Steampunk experiences in the world. Now we return in 2012 to bring you an event beyond the scope of your imaginations! Join us once again this next Memorial Day Weekend for high adventure and exploration galore!
