Direct 2 Drive is IGN’s entry into the gamer digital distribution marketplace. IGN is the parent company of such sites as Rotten Tomatoes and Cheats Codes Guides. This makes them a perfect partner for video game companies looking to sell downloadable versions of their existing games to IGN’s built-in audience. According to their corporate site, they are experts in what man aged 18-34 want. Using this expertise, they are now selling their exclusive downloadable Girls of Gaming magazine. This is basically an artifical girl artificial girlie magazine. If the magazine is only pixels, that is all right because the girls are only pixels. I believe original producer Play Magazine may have a traditional paper version of GoG available on their site, but it seems more appropriate to check out digital divas in a digital format.
