When I first saw the trailer, my mind exploded! A lot of questions rushed into my head the second I saw it. “Is this a first person movie? Is this a movie of a game? Is this is a new game? Is it available on PC? Is that Jennifer Lawrence?”
Hardcore Henry is really cool because it breaks the usual “spectator view” and takes the audience to the “first person perspective” type of movie, which is very bold and will look really cool in 3D.
This is a story about a guy who was “modified” to be half robot with incredible strength and superman-like capabilities. Though I don’t think he can fly… but he jumps from a running truck to a running motorcycle of bad guys so it’s not bad. He’s close.
As per the reviews, this is like Jason Bourne and Captain America rolled into one in a Call of Duty game. If you’re a gamer, you’ll really find this cool.
This action sci-fi American Russian film was only released theatrically by STX Entertainment on April 8, 2016 but I’m hoping it will be shown to the greater audience.
