LillieQ‘s Leia at MFC Social is basically what happens when the Rebel Alliance discovers gold, thigh-highs and absolutely no interest in subtlety.
The space-buns are doing most of the heavy lifting character-wise, and then the gold slave-Leia look comes in right behind them and makes the whole thing instantly recognizable. She actually pulls the look together really well too. The dark hair, the twin buns, all the little gold chains and jewelry, the warm bronze-gold outfit, even the stockings all give it that very specific Return of the Jedi Leia silhouette. There is enough detail there that the reference lands immediately, even in the middle of an MFC Social full of other cosplayers trying to out-chaos one another.
The buns are still diplomatic. The rest of LillieQ has joined the Dark Side. The Senate has been dissolved and apparently the new government runs entirely on naughty little space credits.
