Cloth without Flesh. Ever watched comic super heroes or character come to life in a live action movie? Noticed how they follow the male super hero’s appearance? But when it comes to female character they always need to change it for obvious reason. I’m sure most of you guys reading had watch Thor (movie). And for those who aren’t fan of Thor you may not notice Lady Sif being in the movie. But for those who have background knowledge about Thor, Sif already appeared in the very first part of the movie but was wearing a different outfit. Since Lady Sif isn’t really a super popular hero I’ll give you guys a brief introduction.

sif2Lady Sif is a beautiful warrior-goddess of the Asgard. Heimdall, her brother, was the sentinel of Asgard’s Rainbow Bridge, which connected Asgard and Midgard, the mortal realm. In the comics, Sif is Thor’s lover and main love interest, not just a friend or a teammate, being a direct adaptation of Norse mythology, where Sif is the wife of Thor. Her feelings for Thor are hinted in the end of the first film when she looks at him talking with his father, and also when Lorelei taunts her during their fight.

The girl today is Yaya Han. She is a costume designer, model and cosplay entertainer with over a decade of experience. After discovering cosplay at Anime Expo in 1999, she quickly absorbed the heart and soul of costume design and creation. To this day Yaya has made close to 300 costumes in the genres of anime/manga, comic books, video games, sci-fi and her own original designs.

The original is always better like always. Yaya Han followed one of her favourite Sif interpretation from a comic artist. The is what’s lovely about this cosplay and it’s made out of suede while being topstitched by a jumbo fur. The rest of the outfit may not look like it but it’s very light. The corset is steel boned and lined. The wonderflex is covered in leather and metallic 4-way stretch spandex.
Yaya Han is an exceptional cosplayer with a great talent for both modelling and tailoring her costumes let’s at least support her by following her on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
