2026 Bazowie! Awards Nominations
I’m so very pleased to announce the opening of prenominations for the Bazowie Awards honoring excellence in cosplay and other fandom pursuits for grown-ups. If you love science fiction, fantasy, paranormal romance, horror, comics, superheroes, anime, RPGs and other tabletop games, and the future of technology, this is the awards show for you. We’ll be posting more details at bazowiecon.com, but I am excited to share that the Awards ceremony will be live in-person IRL in Las Vegas this year! The convention website already has links for panelist/guest suggestions, vendor applications, tickets, hotel block, and more!
In the well over twenty years we’ve been doing this, art forms like cosplay have moved from the fringes to enjoy greater and greater popularity, as they should. And this site has gone from being just me blogging about sex robots and cute costumes and books and movies I liked … to publishing Bazowie Magazine and having more than fifty writers blogging about sex robots and cute costumes and books and movies … and, of course, this awards show and now a full convention with panels and vendors and artists and creators. It has been a lovely experience and I am really thrilled with everything unfolding.
Please use the forms below to nominate your favorites. If you only want to nominate in one category, that is fine. If you want to share your opinion on all of them, that works too. Our panel of judges will gather the qualified suggestions in each category. You can just put a name in and press Continue, but it is helpful if you let us know why you suggested your noms. You are welcome to ask your friends and fans and collaborators to nominate you, but it is a plus if they mention why you are awesome and links to the work always help too. You are welcome to nominate yourself. We will take into account how many prenom recommendations potential nominees receive. Shares on social media of who you nominated will also be considered.
