I really enjoy the design sense and quality execution over at Naughty Fox toys. All of their works are hand made in Berlin and they all just look so creative and next-level refined. I love their smooth lines and amazing coloration work. I think that’s what makes me associate their whole line with a more illustrated anime style. Their work looks like an illustrator drew and colored what a great fantasy toy should ideally look like and it simply became real.
I particularly like this recent release, titled Tatsu, The Spiked Dragon. I love the Super Saiyan-esque soft barbed crown, and those comic book spikes under the pronounced knot at the base of the girthy dragon scaled shaft, are surprisingly fun too. They add an entertaining tickly sensation once the knot finally pops in. I really like the lightly matte silicone texture Naughty Fox achieves too. It’s perfectly smooth, with just the right density and squish. I’m really instantly a fan and look forward to what Naughty Fox has in store for the future.
