Okay, I know some of you read Lovecraft and felt like that shiver you got might not be entirely fear-based. If so, Hankey’s Toys has just released a toy called Kthulu with a suggestive pitch: “You crave for this old god to dive deep, entering your dark caverns with its thick bulbous head and octopus-like feelers, exploring and looking for just the right spot, ready to plant its seed deep inside.” I am personally inspired by tentacles and excited to see a tentacle-themed toy with a substantial round tip, instead of the taped single tentacle tip seen most commonly. Don’t get me wrong, I like all friendly tentacles, just appreciating the variety. This being Hankey’s Toys, of course the pours will all be the highest quality silicone and the small is already quite sizable, while the sizes go up to and XXL, too big for a harness, with an eleven inch circumference near the base. The artists recommend Gunmetal Grey or Metallic Green for the color on this and describe the texture with the tag, “Knobby Head and Squid-like tentacles,” which seems like a descriptor that would not come up that often, but maybe the Old Ones are calling monstrous followers.
