Kitsune’s cosplay is of Taihou, a character from the mobile game Azur Lane, she is based on the real-life Japanese aircraft carrier Taihō, which was an advanced carrier designed to be a flagship for the Imperial Japanese Navy. Azur Lane features anthropomorphized warships as characters, combining elements of naval warfare with anime-style art and storytelling.
As seen in this cosplay, Taihou is depicted as an elegant and alluring young woman with long black hair and a curvaceous figure.
Taihou’s default outfit includes a white and black dress with red accents, a hair ornament resembling a ship’s deck, and high heels. She often carries a fan, adding to her graceful and sophisticated appearance. Her design features traditional Japanese elements, with a modern twist, reflecting her origins as a Sakura Empire ship.
In 2022, along with a new Azur Lane update, Taihou received a new skin, a school girl uniform, complete with a cute cat.
