Obviously in Japan crossdressing is nothing new to them and it is even evident even in anime and manga that it’s become something usual to them. Among the many fandoms that has made its way into the markets, Benio in Zone 00 is just one example of a cross dressing character.
That said, Chono Black’s costume and body markings intriguingly replicated Benio’s from the heart-shaped lock down to the body markings which is a significant part of the character’s dark history of being carved up and consumed for immortality by the humans whom he trusted.
