MV Partsch’s Albus Dumbledore Harry Potter Cosplay

MV Partsch’s cosplay of Albus Dumbledore is one of the better ones out there, if only because it features a real-looking beard. The fez and brocade robes are pretty legit, something Dumbledore would’ve likely worn at any of the Triwizard Tournament events. The makeup looks very realistic, with the wrinkles and drooping eyes almost convincing me that an old man did this cosplay rather than a young woman. This was very probably a favorite at Dragon Con 2012, where it was worn. The glasses are totally retro, showing us that Dumbledore had a rocking time at Hogwarts in the seventies.

“I would assume that you were going to offer me refreshment, but the evidence so far suggests that that would be optimistic to the point of foolishness.”
