“Can’t you see it? Can’t you hear it? Can’t you see Oz screaming through his tears?”!!Have you watched or read the manga Pandora Hearts? Well it’s about a boy named Oz, let me stop here for a moment, you might think that it’ll be the place like the Great Wizard of Oz kidna thing but it’s not. So going back, it’s a boy named Oz who is filthy rich and is an heir to the Vessalius Duke House where he suddenly been cast on to a prison in Abyss only to be saved by Alice! And now this is where our topic will start.
Well Alice ain’t just any minor characters but obviously plays a great role in this series. She does have a binding contract with Oz though. Alice has purple eyes and long brown hair and two side plaits with chain pieces at the ends. She wears a red coat with a white diamond design, a black tight skirt and laced-up white, heeled boots. She has the physical appearance of a 14 year old girl. When she is in her released form, she appears as a black rabbit with fangs and red pupils, wielding a giant scythe. The cosplayer today was able to meet my Alice having a great aura of lolita but NOT looking one. How? Her outfit is super kawaiii the the Red dress with the white diamond stripes is like a combination of Lolita and Victorian theme another thing to be take note of is the giant ribbon on her neck which really fits her even though she has a small figure.
And that model who brought to us this fascinating Alice Cosplay is a Singaporean Cosplayer named Yuuka but usually goes by the name “dearttolife”. Dearttolife, despite being a singaporean is a hard core Japanese music lover. She listens to J-Rock, J Pop and most of the japanese composed instrumentals and symphony. Dearttolife had been cosplaying for almost 6 years now and as we can see she had cosplayed many popular characters from hit anime movies. Despite being a girl, cosplaying male characters is not impossible for dearttolife which only shows her professionalism on cosplaying both female and male characters. Dearttolife is one of the cosplayers I really admire and have my respect because of the photos and greatness they do so let’s support her by following her on Facebook, DeviantArt and Twitter. Let’s also support her photographer ShiroAng.
