Erased

Don’t you wish you could turn back time and change your decision or how you reacted and maybe — just maybe — the outcome won’t be as screwed up as it is? Don’t we all? Just recently, this amazing anime was finished and it was a really mind-blowing ending! Although I can see that there will be no season 2 for this, they made a good ending where the watchers would really appreciate and that there is closure.

I’m talking about Boku Dake ga Inai Machi or Erased. I followed this anime week after week from January to March and after each episode, I’m praying that the week will end fast so that I’ll be able to watch the next episode! This story is about Satoru Fujinuma, who for some reason, jumps back in time several minutes before a tragedy will happen. Also, for some reason, it was never explained how and why it happened during the entire show, which remains a mystery.

What we do know is that this mystery is happening to him because there is something in the past that he must do to correct the future. No one told him, no one’s there to coach him, and he only got to figure everything out all by himself.

I don’t want to be a spoiler for those who haven’t watched it, but it’s for you to see whether or not he will be successful.

This fantasy-thriller anime aired from January 2016 to March 2016 and on March 19, 2016, the live action film was released starring Tatsuya Fujiwara as Satoru Fujinuma (this is the amazing actor on the live actions Death Note and Rurouni Kenshin), Kasumi Arimura as Airi Katagiri, Yuriko Ishida as Satoru’s mother, Mitsuhiro Oikawa as Satoru’s elementary school teacher, Rio Suzuki as Kayo Hinazuki and Tsubasa Nakagawa as the elementary school age Satoru.

I tell you, the trailer really gave me goosebumps!
