Printed Armor Leggings

Artist Mitmunk has released these really cool printed armor leggings on Etsy that I want like whoa. We’ve covered leggings several times before but these are bringing something new to the table. Hand printed (I don’t know how) designs also include anatomical drawings and ever popular galaxy shots. I’m going to grab a pair of these before they get snatched up!

The latest from MITMUNK: Printed armour metal plate and chainmail leggings in a deep teal colour.

Look like you’re wearing actual body armor with these meticulously designed, comfortable leggings. Straps, buckles, lights, bolts, chains–all these details are carefully laid out across the print. A flattering fish scale pattern embellishes the waist. For a rough and tough look, scratches and rust appear worn into the blue-green “metal” hugging your leg–just like you’ve been hard at work kicking ass!

Inspired by video game, comic, and film characters, heroes and villains, these MITMUNK leggings made their debut at the first annual Vancouver Alternative Fashion Weekend in November 2012, and are now finally available for purchase by the general fashionable public! These are very versatile and can be worn as part of a day outfit for adventurous folks, for dressing up in a special costume styled with your own accessories, or for cosplay. Leggings aren’t just for women; men can wear them too–these are for anyone who likes the look!

The unique artwork was custom-designed, then hand-printed onto polyester-spandex fabric, which has a slight sheen on the outside. The inside has a “brushed” finish so it feels soft against your skin. The artwork is dyed right into the fabric, which means the colours will not run, and you’ll always be able to enjoy your MITMUNK garment.
