This seems like something out of an overly something cyberpunk novel, but I recently read that on this date in 1987, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed September 11 as 9-1-1 Emergency Number Day. First of all, does anyone know if this is true? Secondly, how would one properly celebrate such a day? (via Wikipedia)
